Cinnamon and Its Uses



Cinnamon is a highly delicious spice. Cinnamon is used as a spice and aromatic. Cinnamon has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine to cure many ailments. Humid tropical evergreen rain forest conditions favor the best growth of cinnamon. Cinnamon is made by cutting the stems of the cinnamon tree. the inner bark is then extracted and woody parts removed from it. When it dries, it forms strips that curl into rolls, called cinnamon sticks. The sticks can be ground to from cinnamon powder.
